Yesterday, eventually, I received James Blake's album in the post after a month waiting following an 'administrative error' by amazon. The brilliantness of the album quickly got rid of my anger.
Limit To Your Love, is the best song on the album. A cover of the original song by Feist, you wouldn't know it was a cover if it weren't for the lyrics though.
The Wilhelm Scream, another piece of minimalistic genius.
The album is out now, has been for a while, don't get it from amazon.
Got to agree, listened to this on the plane to France last week. Brilliant.
ReplyDeleteSurprised the big guns haven't really caught ahold of him like they did with The XX. But I don't mind that, would love to see him live, in as small a venue as possible.
